The following items are excluded under Platinum coverage: brake components (pads, shoes, rotors, drums); manual clutch components; air bags; glass and lenses; body panels, trim, moldings, and weather stripping; tires and wheels; batteries (except Hybrid/EV/High-Voltage batteries); upholstery, paint, and bright metal; filters (unless required with a covered breakdown); hoses, exhaust system, catalytic converter; shock absorbers; alignments or wheel balancing (unless required with a covered breakdown); safety restraint systems; non-factory audio or security systems; vinyl and convertible tops.
